'On the Playground' is an evocative and vital piece of immersive theatre based on real-life experiences surrounding the War in Bosnia, from the perspective of a child refugee, for children. In this exciting, interactive production designed for schools that creatively weaves together game play and storytelling; children are invited to join Stasha on her journey onto the playgrounds of her early childhood, hear the first hand experiences of a child refugee and play the games that travelled with her.

Through ‘On the Playground’, students are inspired to listen to each other's stories and develop a greater level of understanding for those in their school and wider communities who have been victims of forced migration.

I found the games fun and exciting and I thought that the way the refugee travelled through different countries making new friends and learning new languages was fantastic.
